    Dear Sue,
As i’m sure you know Angela Roberts has started working with us on a part-time basis whilst her friend (Linda) who usually carries out our on site cleaning is recuperating after her recent operation. Angela has received both our general induction and a H & S induction and seems to be doing very well. I did mention to Angela last night that I would be contacting you to ask you if you could supply me with a character reference on behalf of Angela as this is our policy when taking on new staff. I do have a standard form that we use for obtaining references which unfortunately, I have not been unable to attach to this message. I would be most grateful if you could supply me with a few words confirming Angela’s character and suitability for this role or if you could provide me with an address then I could send you our template charcter reference form in order for you to complete. Any correspondence could be sent via email or post to Mr Crofton Davey, Harlech Foodservice Ltd, Parc Amaeth, Llanystumdwy. LL52 0LJ. Thank you very much for your assistance.
    Kind regards,
    Crofton.

  3. The link above is to our property in Abersoch which I have let for the past two years and done the cleaning/changeovers myself (I live nr Wrexham). I have been hesitant about employing a company to do my changeovers as I felt it was important for me to check everything between each set of clients as I hold a security deposit and wasn’t confident that cleaners would notice items missing or broken or faulty. However, there are times when it isn’t always convenient to travel over and I’m considering trying a cleaning company. Can you tell me what you charge and how my concerns could be allayed?

Hi there, I set my business up in 2005 for owners like yourself who live away from their property . Our strapline is ‘taking the hassle out of your holiday let’ which is precisely what we do. As part of our changeover service your cleaner (who would normally be the same one) will hold a checklist individual to your property and made up of the owner requirements. The cleaner can also hold an itinerary which can be checked on arrival and the owner notified immediately if anything is broken or missing, the clean for example is trained to switch the lights on to check if bulbs are missing and of course switch off on departure. I have looked at your property on the website and I would charge £39 for a changeover clean not including linen. If you would like to call me with any questions please do not hesitate or if you would like to meet up my number is 07817 875337 thank you for hyour enquiry. sue kelly
